Festivus Film Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting high-quality indie films to an awesome Denver audience. Beginning in 2007 as a response to an independent film vacuum in Denver. The humble, yet promising Festivus Film Festival 2008 was a first attempt to fill that vacuum. After rave reviews they decided they were onto something. After being named one of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the US by Moviemaker Magazine, the 2011 fest was the biggest yet. 2012 will mark the 5-year anniversary of the festival.
FESTIVUS FILM FESTIVAL + msgdsgn
Festivus began working with msgdsgn at the conceptual phase. None of us were sure where the festival would go, but we were all excited to be working on the inaugural year. I created the logo and initial website and the projects continued to grow each year. I have been involved with Festivus all five years and create programs, flyers, posters, banners, advertisements, billboards and more. If you live in the Denver area, you don’t want to miss this festival. It’s a great chance to see some amazing independent filmmaking that likely will not be able to see anywhere else.
